By placing an order with Telford Web Design Services you confirm that you agree with and are bound by the terms and conditions below.

Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to all services offered by Telford Web Design Services.

By ordering services from Telford Web Design Services you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

General

The acceptance of a commission shall be deemed as a contractual agreement between the client and Telford Web Design Services. We reserve the right to refuse to construct a website which we may judge as unfit due to content or otherwise. This includes, but is not limited by, sites containing obscene material, sites which promote hatred towards persons belonging to any ethnic group, religion or sexual orientation and sites which infringe copyright or are contrary to UK laws.

Telford Web Design Services cannot always guarantee to start work immediately on a commission but will arrange a date with the client as to when work can commence.

Telford Web Design Services will not commence work until a deposit has been received from the client and the funds have cleared. The basic package does not include any promotion of the client’s website and Telford Web Design Services does not take any responsibility for the promotion, or lack thereof, of the client’s website.

The client’s website will be monitored by Telford Web Design Services to ensure maximum time online. All material, both text and images supplied by the client and used in the construction of the client's website, will remain the property of the client. All such material will be assumed to be the property of the client and free to use without fear of breach of copyright laws.

The copyright for all material provided by Telford Web Design Services, such as HTML code, graphics, photographs and text, will remain the property of Telford Web Design Services.

Telford Web Design Services makes every effort to design pages which display acceptably in the most popular current browsers, but cannot accept responsibility for pages which do not display acceptably in new versions of browsers released after pages have been designed.

The initial fee of £350.00 solely covers the initial design fee and the registration of one .com OR one .co.uk domain name. Other domain suffixes are available on request but may be subject to additional charges.

Telford Web Design Services is only responsible for the initial registration fee for domain names. The client is responsible for any subsequent renewal fees. Failure to pay renewal fees may result in the loss of the client’s domain name and therefore loss of their website. The client will own all rights to their domain name and this will remain so should they decide to discontinue working with Telford Web Design Services.

Hosting

Hosting services are subject to a minimum 24 month period.

Billing & Pricing

Any subsequent invoices received, after initial payment, must be paid within 14 days of issue. Telford Web Design Services accepts payment by cheque, credit card, cash or BACS transfer within 14 days of the date on any invoices.

Telford Web Design Services reserves the right to alter prices at any time without notice. If a client has commissioned any services from Telford Web Design Services prior to a change in prices then that commission will not be subject to any increase, but any subsequent commission may be subject to an increase. Any changes to the client’s website, after it has been signed off by the client, may be subject to separate fees.

Termination of Service

If a client wishes to terminate this contract with Telford Web Design Services then the client must provide at least 30 days notification. If at any point during the Website Development Cycle a client wishes to cancel, they may do so but will be invoiced an amount that Telford Web Design Services judges to be proportional to the amount of work completed on the commission. If the client decides to terminate the contract within the first 12 months then Telford Web Design Services reserve the right to charge the client for the remainder of the contract. If, during the Website Development Cycle, the client does not supply the content required in order to complete the commission within a reasonable amount of time, Telford Web Design Services will consider that the client wishes to cancel the commission.
